Fortnite for iOS Has Generated $300 Million in Revenue in Just 200 Days

Fortnite for iOS continues its impressive run as it has managed to earn $300 million in revenue in just 200 days. For comparison, the game took 90 days to generate $100 million.

Out of the $300 million revenue generated, 65 percent came from Fortnite players in the United States. Fortnite’s revenues got a nice boost last week with the launch of the season 6 of the game which helped it in grossing nearly $20 million in revenue.

Fortnite iOS earnings

Fortnite earned the most revenue in the first 200 days of it being on the App Store when compared to other hit titles like Supercell’s Clash Royale, Tencent’s Honor of Kings and Knives Out. For comparison, Clash Royale took 249 days to generate $300 million in revenue outside of China.

Fortnite could not beat Niantic’s Pok√©mon Go numbers though, which took just 113 days to gross $300 million in revenues.

Sensor Tower estimates that Fortnite players worldwide have spent $1.5 million per day on the iOS version of the game which has gone up to $2.5 million since season 6 was released on September 27.

Fortnite for Android is also doing relatively well since its launch on August 9 and it is estimated to have grossed $60 million since then.
