Apple’s Spaceship Campus Recreated Using 85,000 LEGO Bricks

Lego Apple Campus

There’s no doubt that Apple Park is an engineering marvel with its spaceship-like campus. But you know what’s even more fascinating? An Apple campus made completely out of LEGO.

The LEGO Apple Spaceship campus is made out of nearly 85,000 LEGO bricks and it took the designer just over two years to build it.

What’s even more impressive is that designer Spencer_R based off his lego spaceship design completely over the drone footage of the campus that popped up on YouTube frequently. The LEGO spaceship campus measures 6.8 x 4.5 feet and weighs roughly 78 pounds.

Spencer_R has paid close attention to details for the build which includes glass walls for the Steve Jobs Theather, tiny basketball courts, trees, solar roof, and more. In total, Spencer says there are 1,646 trees in his LEGO Apple spaceship campus. He even managed to replicate the Glendenning Barn, a historic structure that is over a century old.

There’s only one error here: based on the early drone videos, Spencer went ahead and made two tennis courts. However, they eventually turned out to be volleyball courts. Nonetheless, this does not take away from the fact that the whole thing is a beauty to look at especially if you love LEGO.

What do you think about the LEGO Apple Park? I’d say Apple should keep this one in its own campus in the visitor’s area to show off the hard work done by Spencer here.
